Trying to come up with more inventive surfaces to paint on, since these days vintage wares aren't as cheap or as easy to come by as they once were. I love vintage Kitchen Scales, but I also have an appreciation for them in there original state, even the rust that's crusted itself onto most, over the years seems appealing. They don't make them anymore, of course this adds to there charm. I'm a little sentimental over a period I wasn't even born in and can't bring myself to paint over them, so save the Scales...I've drawn some up of my own and made them out of mdf.
